Duo®2 mattress replacement system
The Duo®2 mattress replacement system combines state-of-the-art advanced low pressure control technology (De•Teq™) with two clinically accepted therapies. An innovative mattress replacement for the high to very high risk patient, who will benefit from advanced low pressure technology and the choice of 2 clinically accepted therapies in one product.
Alternating low pressure mode.
Unlike conventional alternating pressure mattress systems (APM’s) which exert high peak cushion pressures in their cells during the inflation cycle, the peak cushion pressures in the Duo®2 system are at least 6O% below those in conventional APM’s. The Duo®2 system's cushions are controlled by De•Teq™, an intelligent pressure control system that controls cushion pressures to therapeutic levels at all times.
Continuous low pressure mode.
In this mode, cushion pressures are automatically controlled by De•Teq™ technology, providing the maximum possible distribution of the patient’s body weight which means the lowest tissue interface pressures achievable on any mattress system.
